Founded in 2004, Golightly Landscape Architecture provides professional design services to residential and commercial clients. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, site-specific design that is beautiful, sustainable, and practical. We do this by listening to our client’s needs; understanding the property’s ecosystem and evaluating its features and constraints; and closely collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors during all phases of design and construction.
Founding principal, John Golightly Wilson, received LEED accreditation in 2004 and is committed to applying LEED principals and practices, not necessarily for certification, but as an everyday tool. LEED principles provide clients with quality craftsmanship and promote sustainable design from project concept through construction completion and site operations and management.
Our master planning and design specialties include intimate terrace gardens, outdoor living and entertainment areas, motor and service courts, rain water harvesting systems for irrigation, lily pools, swimming pools and spas, and public parks and green spaces.
